How to become a member?
We use our Investors In Earth Framework to access many aspects of your organisation. This Framework sets out criteria for membership but essentially it is a tool to work towards a greener future. Some examples of what we access in the Framework are:
- Your day to day running of the organisation – Area’s where you have reduced your carbon footprint or introduced new procedures to combat waste. Protecting your supply chain and shareholders.
- Your people – How they travel to work, what they consume while at work or how they recycle at home or the workplace.
- Your customers – What their expectations are. How they consume your goods/services.
- Your future goals – How your organisation can make changes to become greener.
Every organisation is different and no environmental impact will be the same. Likewise, no environmental response can be. Our framework is based on 3 fundamental stages and as long as these stages are met, any organisation can help lead to a greener future for us all.
- Acknowledgement of the responsibility.
- Willingness to change for the better. (Every little step helps).
- Ethical and environmental working practices installed from the top down.
How we assess membership.
You simply work through the Framework at your own pace using the link below. All work is undertaken online to reduce our carbon footprint. When filling out the framework we encourage you to include as much information as possible. Ultimately, the framework should be used as a tool to going greener.
On completion of the Framework your payment details will be taken online.
Our experienced passionate team are always on hand for help and guidance.
COVID-19 MEASURES – Due to the restrictions in place and guidance from The UK government, all of our team will only be available to offer support via phone or email for the foreseeable future.
Once the framework has been submitted we get to work on assessing and will send you your membership details for you to display with pride.
As part of the membership we offer guidance and suggestions on how to go greener and plan for the future.

How does membership work?
On completion of the Investors In Earth framework and receipt of payment, your organisation will be assessed by one of our team.
We use the information you provide to ensure that your organisation has taken steps to acknowledge it has a role to play in fighting the negative impact we have on the planet and that it is taking steps now or in the near future to lessen that impact.
Once we have completed the assessment we will send you your membership details digitally, to reduce the carbon footprint. The membership will be made up of display material for use on your premises, digital material for use on your website or social media channels plus material for use on letter heads etc. All of which will have a link to your dedicated webpage which will highlight the work you are doing.
We would encourage you to display your membership with pride. Consumer habits are changing, a demand for more ethical and environmentally aware organisations is growing. Companies that do not commit to change will be left behind.
How much does membership cost?
Membership cost just £32 plus VAT per site.
Membership lasts for 2 years.
